Summit Survivor Backyard Ultra at Kissing Bridge
Runners leave every hour on the hour to run a 3 mile loop.
Runners left standing in the 12th hour will race for the winning title.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Athletes will line up at the top of the hour starting at 8:00 a.m.
- After a loop is completed, check-in with event staff.
- Laps 1 - 11 require manual check-in & lap tracking
- Lap 12 will be electronically timed with an ankle chip.
Summit Survivor is a self-supported race, where runners should rely on their own crew for fueling, hydration, and race assistance. There will be a crew aid station area where you can set up your own tent to easily access after each loop at the start/finish area. The race WILL provide a water station at the start/finish line along with a light snack - but again, you should be reliant on your own aid station for fuel and hydration during the race. This will be a cupless race, so runners will need to provide their own water bottle/flask/bladder to refill their water.
*For your safety and security, a headlamp is required once it gets dark. Please bring a headlamp and wear it while running after sunset. Runners will not be permitted to continue on the course after dark without a headlamp.
*Please note runners should bring their own tent for their aid stations.
